Marvel.com, the official website for the Marvel Comics franchise has recently revealed some details on the upcoming X-Men Anime that being produced by Animax in Japan.For those wondering if the series will be translated into English, we're happy to report that it will be! Marvel reporting in the same update that the series will be airing on the G4 channel in the USA at some point in the future.
In addition to the above news, AnimeNewsNetwork has revealed more details (including some of the characters designs by Madhouse) thanks to the official Japanese website of this new X-Men series!

As for the story of the series, (from AnimeNewsNetwork) According to Animax and Marvel, the story is set one year after the death of Jean Grey and after the X-Men organization has effectively disbanded. However, Hisako Ichiki (Armor) — a mutant middle school girl living in northeastern Japan — has gone missing. An emergency call for help is sent, and the founder of the X-Men, Professor X, summons his team from all over the globe. The reunited X-Men travel to Japan where they encounter a supremacist cult called the U-Men.
