Distant Worlds performing Final Fantasy music in London!

Hello everyone it has been a little while since our last blog post due to work and university work (and whatnot), but The Anime Chronicle is back in full force!

-----------------------

We discovered first thing this morning (Friday 17th December) an event taking place in November 2011! While it may seem quite a way away, if you are a fan of the music from Final Fantasy games, you will want to, no NEED to read the following!

On Saturday 5th November next year, the Royal Albert Hall in London will become the scene for what will be truly be a dream to all fans of the music of Final Fantasy. For one night only, the music spanning across the vast universe that is 'Final Fantasy' will be performed by a full orchestra to what will no doubt be a capacity crowd!

Here are the details from the venue itself -
"The Royal Albert Hall is proud to be the site of the gala premiere in London of Distant Worlds: music from Final Fantasy, the highly anticipated multimedia concert experience.

With composer Nobuo Uematsu and conductor Arnie Roth, The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, and many special soloists including Susan Calloway from FFXIV, and with state of the art HD videos and stills shown on massive screens highlighting the games most memorable sequences, the Royal Albert Hall will swell with the award-winning music from the FINAL FANTASY video game series.

Featuring scenes from throughout the Final Fantasy series as well as music from the newly released Final Fantasy XIII and XIV, this is truly a concert not to be missed."

Tickets are available now, ranging from £20-45 (a bargain no doubt in some peoples eyes), or if you want what could best described as the VIP treatment then there is the option of a VIP ticket that features premium seating along with some very special extras for the cost of £125 per person. Here are the benefits of the VIP package -
• Premium seating for the performance in the Stalls, Section K
• Post-show standing reception in a Royal Albert Hall room
• Beer, wine and soft drinks served with nibbles
• Meet with composer Nobuo Uematsu and conductor Arnie Roth
• Special concert programme book
• Autograph session and photo opportunity

This will no doubt be one event not to miss! One question that does come to mind is will there be any music from the 'Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children' movie played? We don't know, but we do know that we will be there to witness what will no doubt be a magical night of music!
